Tujijenge Tanzania Limited is a fast growing microfinance institution in
Tanzania with a clientele base of 16,000 clients composed of small and medium women and men entrepreneurs.
In order to enhance its operations Tujijenge is looking for a dynamic and
experienced individual to fill an open vacancy of Operations Manager.
Job Summary:
Manage operations which include but not limited to branch networking, teller operations,
Specific Roles:
1. Operations
Plan for and drive business growth in terms of clientele. Loan
portfolio and quality.
Manage day to day delivery of demand-driven and cost effective
services to clients in areas of operation.
Ensure services that services delivered are consistently supported by
well documented policies and procedures.
2. Supervise staffing and staff development
Participate in selection. Recruitment and training of branch and head
office staff.
Mentor and train all branch managers and supervisors.
Supervise an effective staff capacity building program for branch
staff that includes training and mentoring.
3. Administration
Ensure timely branch supplies including stationery. Electronic
machines and other equipment.
Track and analyze portfolio quality and prepare accurate and timely
monthly. Quarterly. Annual statistical reports with specific
recommendations for improvement.
Personal Specifications:
Age between 30-45 years
At least a Bachelor's degree in business or commerce discipline plus
a post graduate qualification
At least 3 years banking experience at senior level
Good knowledge of micro finance
High level of integrity
Must be keen on details
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision
