Estates Supervisor

Estates Supervisor (1): 

Reports to: Manager Finance, Administration and Business 
Development. 

Qualifications: Diploma in Civil! Electrical Engineering or its 
equivalent. Plvmbing, carpentry and metal fabrication knowledge 
will be an added advantage. 
Competencies and skills required: 

A minimum of 3 years experience in related functions; 
• 'Able to construct and undertake various preventative 
maintenance tasks as maybe required on; buildings, animal 
holding facilities, enclosures and the perimeter fence. 

• Proficiency in ensuring that troughs and ponds are in functional 
conditions that meet the health and welfare needs of animals 
under our care. 
• Ability to implement a sound Environmental Management 
System (EMS) in conformity with the Zoo Accredited 
Institutional Standards and national legislations
