Chief Steward

A leading five star hotel in Nairobi is urgently looking for a suitable individual to fill the above position.

Qualification / Experience

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for:-

Inventory and control of all F&B equipment.
Cleanliness and sanitation of all the areas of Food and Beverage
Supervision, control and duty allocation to the Kitchen stewards.
Training all Kitchen stewards on proper hygiene standards and sanitation guidelines

The position is challenging and calls for self motivated, confident and imaginative individual with the following attributes:-

Aged 30 - 45 years
At least five years experience in a similar position, preferably from afive star hotel establishment.
Good knowledge of detergents and sanitation guidelines
HACCP awareness.
Ability to communicate with F&B and stewarding team
Good supervisory skills
Computer literate
